Bursting from Vienna’s underground, Annika is ready to share her distinctive musical identity after years of shaping as well as being shaped by the local queer Techno scene. Having perfected the balance of drive and complexity in mixing through her residency at MEAT Market / FISH Market, hosted at Vienna’s infamous Grelle Forelle, Annika is known for delivering exceptional DJ sets and music productions, utilising various techno styles, lately enriched with the rebellious noise of the 80s.
Annika’s upcoming EP for 2026 on MEAT Recordings marks the inception of her signature techno sound, fusing contemporary percussion, futuristic elements, layers of analogue gate reverb drums and synth themes, typical for 80s rock, punk and new wave. A strong vision that allows fans and new listeners to experience Annika Stein’s signature interpretation of techno music.
